Ice
Another nor'easter blew through this weekend. The roads were treacherous and tonight's rain will be frozen by tomorrow.
Sleep and dream on in peace
in blissful ignorance
the world is growing cold
even the raindrops wince
The gentle raindrops freeze
and slick the roads with ice
crystal coats the tree limbs
such beauty, such a price
